A. A vendor must keep a copy of the permit, any certificates, and bills or invoices to the purchaser for at least six years from the date the items or services are purchased. These documents must be appropriately marked to indicate that untaxed purchases were made. The words "purchased with D.P.P." satisfy this requirement.
